NEW ZOOM CLASSES FOR DECEMBER


 Here is the lineup for December...


Thursday, December 10 at 7 pm:  The next in the New Orleans music and culture series, a presentation on jazz funerals, parade music, and dance music in the Crescent City.  To register, click here.

Monday, December 14 at 7 pm:  Virtual Film Forum: MY OLD LADY (2014).  A comedy-drama set in the beautiful Marais district of Paris, starring Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline, and Kristin Scott Thomas.  To register, click here.

Thursday, December 17 at 7 pm:  Poetry Discussion.  As usual, we'll read and share thoughts about a selection of short classic and modern poems.  To register, click here.

Sunday, December 20 at 2 pm:  Special Christmas Music Program.  CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE AGES.  Folk songs about the winter solstice, Irving Berlin interpreted by soul singers, and swingin' jingle bells, plus a few surprises.

Monday, December 28 at 7 pm:  Virtual Film Forum: NOTHING SACRED (1937).  The classic screwball comedy in Technicolor (a rare thing for comedies in that era).  Starring Carole Lombard and Frederick March.  To register, click here.
